Terms and Conditions of Service For Public Relations Agencies And Other Information Providers Using Prangle.ie
The following terms and conditions govern the relationship between you and Prangle Ltd. By using this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be legally bound by these terms and conditions.
By using this website, you are representing to us that you have the power and authority to accept these terms and conditions and to enter into this agreement with us, and that you understand and accept the terms, conditions and risks relating to their use.
REGISTRATION
Registration as an information provider user of Prangle.ie is subject to a separate commercial agreement between each information provider and Prangle Ltd.
CONTENT
As with a printed press release, material posted by agencies on Prangle.ie may be used as the basis for copy to be published or broadcast. Agencies posting material to Prangle grant to journalists registered to use this website the right to copy and republish the material posted to the website in connection with their professional activities.
Agencies are responsible for ensuring that the material does not infringe the intellectual property rights or copyright of other information providers, and that it is not defamatory, in contempt of court or otherwise legally unsound.
The agencies issuing news releases on Prangle.ie and not Prangle Ltd are solely responsible for the accuracy of all content submitted by them to Prangle.ie.
Prangle Ltd reserves the right at its discretion to remove material, or to move it to what it deems to be more appropriate areas on the website.
MULTIPLE POSTINGS
An agency may post a particular media release to a maximum of two subect categories of the site (eg "Health, "Business"). If it posts a release to more than two areas, this may be considered bad etiquette by its users, or construed as a form of "spamming". In the case of such repetition, Prangle Ltd reserves the right to remove some or all of the posts concerned.
MAINTENANCE
Prangle Ltd will endeavour to have the services on Prangle.ie available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. However, from time to time maintenance operations on the site will be required. If these maintenance operations will affect the operation of Prangle.ie they will be conducted at times that least inconvenience users, with notification to users in advance of the interruption to service.
SECURITY, ACCESS AND PRIVACY
It is the responsibility of each registered user of Prangle.ie to keep their user name and password secure.
Prangle.ie will only make news releases from an agency member available to (a) the agency's own authorised user or users, (b) journalists who are registered users, (c) staff of Prangle Ltd or its agents solely in the interests of the management and maintenance of the site.
Agency members of the site may not view other agency members' releases. Any attempt by an agency member to view other members' releases will be deemed a violation of these terms and conditions.
This Website is operated in accordance with Prangle Ltd's Privacy Policy, which is outlined in full in our Privacy Statement. This Privacy Statement is available directly from the Prangle.ie website or from privacy@prangle.ie
VIOLATIONS OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Prangle Ltd reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law and in equity for violations of these terms and conditions, including the right to block access from a particular Internet address to our site.
LAWS
This website (excluding linked external sites) is controlled by Prangle Ltd from its offices within the Republic of Ireland. By accessing this website, you and Prangle Ltd agree that all matters relating to your access to, or use of, this website shall be governed by the statutes and laws of the Republic of Ireland or the European Union, as applicable, without regard to the conflicts of laws principles thereof.
CHANGES
Prangle Ltd reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions from time to time, and users are responsible for periodically reviewing the most current version on this website. Your continued use of this website will be deemed your conclusive acceptance of the updated terms and conditions.
