Who are we?

Prangle Ltd is a totally Irish-owned, limited company. Its four founding partners have extensive experience of print journalism and online publishing:

Douglas Dalby has left The Sunday Times to work full-time on Prangle. His role will be to ensure that Prangle customers - news providers and journalists - get an excellent service. An experienced journalist, Douglas has worked for The Irish Times, Sunday Tribune and Sunday Business Post and has also been responsible for senior production roles at the The Australian in Sydney. ddalby@prangle.ie

Fiachra Ó Marcaigh has written, edited and worked in management for the Irish Press, Sunday Tribune, Sydney Morning Herald and the Irish Times, amongst others. Since 2000, he has worked in leading online publishers and now advises on publishing strategy, content and marketing with the Dublin company AMAS Ltd.

Paul Clerkin has worked for leading Internet developers since 1996. He is responsible for the successful architecture website Archiseek.com, which he started in 1996 and which has grown to be one of the largest architecture sites on the Internet. He has also developed numerous online communities and corporate websites.

Michael Cunningham has written for a range of regional and national newspapers and magazines. He was a staff journalist in the Irish Times from 1987-98, and has been a consultant in several leading online media agencies since 1998. He has also played a key role in starting several newspapers around the country.
